The Clockworks sign new deal with V2 Records and release new single

The four Irish men have impressed different audiences across EUROPE with live performances at festivals including Rock Werchter, Eurosonic and Electric Picnic, and are now ready to take every step to a perfect pop song together with V2 Records.

Before the song was fully written, the four knew exactly how they wanted it to start, how they wanted to feel it and where it would sit in the upcoming album, but it took a little while to get the lyrics and vocal melody right. “The lyrics describe a harmful relationship and the things you tell yourself to not let that relationship go.” The single marks a new chapter for the band and the start of their musical relationship with V2 Records.

To celebrate this new deal, their new single ‘Best Days’ is out now, and The Clockworks announce that they will be touring with Johnny Marr in Europe next month and November.
