LP Returns with “ROOM 12”

Multi-platinum artist and singer-songwriter LP (they/them) has today unveiled their brand new ALBUM “ROOM 12”

Bringing their signature sounds and soaring vocals, atmospheric track ‘Love Is All I Have’ is a welcome return for LP. Written by LP alongside Mike Del Rio, the song traces the emotional aftermath of parting ways, balancing heartbreak, freedom, regret, and personal growth through a deeply reflective narrative.

Of the track, LP explains “Love Is All I Have started with a ukulele and a melody. My longtime collaborator, Mike Del Rio, is always encouraging me to bring in songs like this when we're making a record because he loves the purity in them.

I was drawn to the melody and the sense of longing in it, but for a long time there was something missing from the story.

Sometimes you're only ready to tell a story when the time is right. This song felt like it had been hiding inside me for years, waiting to be written.

It's really a composite of several different relationship endings. Having been on both sides, I felt I could capture both the inconsolable desperation of wanting someone to stay and the relief that can come with leaving—before the remorse sets in.

Like many of my songs, this one has a character arc. I write about experiences that have hurt me deeply, then try to find my way through them to something hopeful. Ultimately, I'm always searching for the moment where I become the hero of my own story.”

LP’s impressive start to 2026 kicked off with the announcement of their major world tour, a full list of dates can be found here. The tour celebrates 10 years of LP’s iconic album, ‘Lost on You’. On the headline shows, LP is performing songs from their upcoming album ‘Room 12’ plus a special set playing ‘Lost on You’ in its entirety honoring the 10th Anniversary. The tour will see LP perform a plethora of dates across Europe, the UK and North America, and is underway now.
