Animal Collective release original soundtrack for landscape documentary

This Monday, Animal Collective released their original soundtrack to the 2025 documentary ‘Jetty’. The soundtrack is already available digitally and a vinyl release is set for April 17th, 2026.

‘Jetty’ was directed by Sam Fleischner, who has previously created music videos for Panda Bear, MGMT, and Santigold. The film documents the reconstruction of New York City’s Rockaway Beach after its destruction by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. ‘Jetty’ is available to stream now and will also be screened at theatres in Los Angeles, San Franscico, and the Humboldt International Film Fest this month.

Today, fans can watch a clip of the film set to one of the soundtrack’s highlights, ‘Broadwalk’.
