Our Record Store Day

Long queues, live music and exclusive records: record shops are filling their bins to the brim, whilst the shop is taken over by RSD releases such as demos, live recordings and deluxe editions. Melle, The Vices and Ziggy Marley are taking part this year with special RSD editions of their albums.

Ziggy Marley - BRIGHTSIDE

With Brightside, Ziggy Marley delivers an album rooted in intention, sound and deep musical connection. Released exclusively on vinyl and CD for Record Store Day on April 18, 2026, this album will only arrive on streaming services at a later date. This makes Record Store Day the first and only place to experience Brightside in its purest form, before it is available anywhere else.

Designed with a physical first philosophy, Brightside is meant to be heard as a complete audio experience. Ziggy recorded the album in 432Hz, a frequency often associated with meditation, balance and healing. To fully capture this specific sonic vision, his studio was rebuilt at the new Tuff Gong campus, allowing for warm, organic and earth grounded tones.

THE VICES - BEFORE IT MIGHT BE GONE

Before It Might Be Gone’ is a raw and honest self-reflection of someone encountering himself for the first time. The album is a journey of change and includes all aspects involved. This Deluxe version is mostly about the lust for life, live energy and influences you have never heard from the band before.

The Deluxe Edition of the album comes with new song ‘I Know’. The song is about how the generation of the band grows up in a world that is changed completely by technology. Social interactions are quicker, a constant pressure to be loved and seen, news and information coming in all ways possible.

The album also comes with a surprising cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’. With this song, The Vices give their own twist to a classic in rock history, while also honouring Ozzy and Sabbath.

Melle - REWORKS

Reworks is a self-produced EP on which Melle breathes new life into his favourite tracks from his last two albums. Using various guitars and instruments from his impressive collection, he reconstructs each song from scratch, highlighting his role as a multi-instrumentalist. In these reworked versions, Melle returns to the essence of the songs: the arrangements are smaller and more intimate, allowing the melodies and meanings to come through with extra clarity. The EP features various collaborations with other artists, making Reworks a true collaborative EP. Familiar songs, but in a new guise. Personal and full of fresh energy.
