A Little Bit of Me’ is the long-awaited second album from British soul singer, songwriter, producer and independent creative force Mica Millar - a singular artist, who has defied industry norms and achieved international recognition entirely on her own terms. Set for release on 5th June via her own label, Golden Hour Music, ‘A Little Bit of Me’ is a deeply personal body of work, recorded at Brad Pitt’s Miraval Studios in Provence and mastered at the legendary Sterling Sound. The first taste of the album, its title track, has already been released and is available to listen to here.

The new album arrives after three years of intense introspection, emotional recalibration and a deliberate reclaiming of autonomy, creatively, spiritually and as a woman moving through the world on her own terms. Written in the wake of a life-altering spinal cord injury and the unrelenting demands of independence, the record charts a journey back to herself: a woman choosing softness without surrender and a femininity defined by truth rather than expectation. The album’s title track is a profound act of reclamation. What began as a single lyric evolved into a mantra for Millar throughout the recording process. It is a song about “losing yourself, rediscovering and seeing yourself” and serves as the perfect introduction to the album. After the hard and painful process of recording her debut album, Millar was determined to rediscover the joy in the creative process and this track specifically gave her the strength and perspective to do that.
