Next single ‘Love U Bring’: true to Hart’s mission, an upbeat track alive with nervy energy, a skittish, breaksy beat and a chopped, pitch-shifted vocal sample, weighted by a growly bass and counterpointed by serene melodic synth chords.
Tech wizard Hart, with science DNA from his renowned computer pioneer grandfather, Geoff Tootill, trained as a classical musician as a child. At fifteen, he auditioned at some of New York’s most prestigious music schools, going on to study jazz trumpet at SUNY Purchase with famous exponents, playing at some of New York’s most esteemed jazz clubs alongside greats like Bob Mover (a previous collaborator of Charlie Mingus and Chet Baker). Soon Hart discovered electronic music and clubbing and inspiration hit.
