Lawrence Hart Comes out of the rain

UK-based DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Lawrence Hart Reelases his long-awaited debut album Come In Out of the Rain on 4th April, preceded by upbeat single ‘Love U Bring’ on Domino’s Double Six imprint. Previous singles have won tastemaker support inc. Sian Eleri, Lauren Laverne, Danny Howard, Jess Iszatt, Jaguar, Jack Saunders, Rinse, DMY, Mixmag, plus heavy playlist uptake inc. a Spotify Altar cover and Amazon Signals slots.

Hart’s hard science skills express emotion-evoking euphoric vibes both dancefloor-ready and perfect for immersive listening: ‘A big thing for me on this record is balancing the more mechanical and technical side of my music with the heart and euphoria.’

The 12-track album Come In Out Of The Rain is an ‘emotional garage record, euphoric and therapeutic,’ journeying through cinematic uplifting synths and moments of fragility enriched with obscure vocal samples. ‘For a long time, I’d worked on music because I didn’t know how to be in the world. This album is about acceptance and opening myself up’, says Hart. ‘I started the Lawrence Hart moniker as I wanted to make music to bring people together on the dancefloor and build that sense of community and togetherness.’
