Jungle by Night: From Paradiso to AFAS Live with a New Live Album and Their Biggest Show Ever
The Amsterdam-based collective Jungle by Night celebrated their 15th anniversary last year, and it certainly didn’t go unnoticed. With the surprise album Synergy and high-energy shows at festivals like Lowlands and in venues like Paradiso and TivoliVredenburg — including special kids shows — the band left their unique mark on the Dutch music scene.
Last Friday, the band released their new live album ‘Live At Paradiso’ digitally. Today, they’re adding to the excitement by announcing their biggest show to date: on Thursday, February 5, 2026, they’ll take the stage at AFAS Live. Tickets for this special anniversary show go on sale Today.
Live At Paradiso features nine new live recordings, captured during two sold-out, ecstatic nights at Paradiso on September 12 and 13, 2024. The album captures the unmatched energy of Jungle by Night on stage — a band renowned for their electrifying live shows in which genres seamlessly flow into one another, from 70s funk to 80s electro, from nu-disco to Krautrock.
With their unique blend of synths, drums, percussion, bass, guitar, trumpet, and trombone, Jungle by Night creates a steaming, analog dancefloor experience. Over the years, the seven-piece has grown into an unmissable act at festivals and pop venues around the world. Their most recent studio album Synergy was nominated for an Edison Award this year, and last year they received the prestigious Golden Notekraker.
The upcoming show at AFAS Live will mark the pinnacle of their 15-year career — a celebration of everything that makes Jungle by Night one of the most beloved live bands in the Netherlands.
