ISAAC ROUX ANNOUNCES SECOND ALBUM ‘LOST & FOUND’

Today, Isaac Roux announces his highly anticipated second album ‘Lost & Found’ with release on the 30th of October. Alongside the album announcement he shares a new single ‘GOOD TIMES’.

‘GOOD TIMES’ is a hazy, sun-soaked indie anthem, this track drifts through late-night memories of youth, love, and fleeting freedom. With red-eyed nostalgia, whispered laughter, and stoner vibes, it captures the bittersweet thrill of doing everything you weren't supposed to, and watching it fade into memory. This song floats between dreamy indie pop and introspective storytelling, leaving listeners suspended in those golden, fleeting summer days.

Two years after the debut album that put him on the map with intimate indie folk and personal stories, frontman Louis De Roo kicks off a brand new chapter with his second effort ‘Lost & Found’. It finds him reaching for a more versatile and energetic sound, immersing the listener in a sun-drenched, nostalgic trip to a youth that never quite happened.

Isaac Roux first surfaced in the Belgian music scene in 2022 winning the people’s choice award at Humo's Rock Rally, and a year later making waves with his debut single White Rose in Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting. His blend of dreamy indie folk and subtle electronica on debut album Troubled Waters was warmly received, followed by appearances at festivals like Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic. On his sophomore record, Roux makes a radical turn and seeks out the rougher edges of indie rock: more searing guitars, urgent drums, bold arrangements and rhythms that just keep pushing.

Isaac Roux worked with producer Bert Vliegen again, and for the mixing they managed to bring in Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile, Death Cab for Cutie). "Bert and I went to Bridgeport in the US to mix the record with Katis. That was a bit of a childhood dream, being in the studio where so many greats have passed through. Katis is known for adding bombast to drums and guitars, and he definitely gave the record even more drive and momentum. It’s become the album I wanted to make. My debut was a real listening record, with this one I'm aiming for festivals and big gestures: I want to see people dancing, jumping and moshing to my music. That would be something."
