Final verse: Delilah Holliday's 'Invaluable Vol. 2' completes her newest album

North London's independent artist Delilah Holliday continues her musical journey with the release of 'Invaluable Vol. 2', the eagerly awaited sequel to her earlier EP 'Invaluable Vol. 1'. Released via One Little Independent Records, this marks the completion of the album 'Invaluable Vol. 1 & 2' which is now available.

Building on the success of 'Invaluable Vol. 1', which was praised by various music platforms including BBC 6 Music, Crack, DIY and Clash Magazine, Delilah presents the next chapter of her musical story. The combined EPs form the 'Invaluable' mixtape, available on limited edition 12" clear purple vinyl.

'Liquid Pearl', the lead single from 'Invaluable Vol. 2', embodies a more beat-driven and anthemic sound, exploring the fossil fuel crisis and climate change. Accompanied by a visual masterpiece from filmmaker Akinola Davies, the song depicts Mother Nature reclaiming her dominion.

'Invaluable Vol. 2' weaves a cautionary tale and embodies the quest for clarity in creativity amidst the cacophony of everyday life. Delilah aims to stay true to her essence while embracing support and confidence, which resonates throughout the seven tracks that make up this musical journey.

Like its predecessor, 'Vol. 2' was co-written and co-produced with composer Raphael Ninot. The EP ranges in musical style, from industrial club anthems to atmospheric moments of euphoria, blending glitchy electronics with Delilah's distinctive art-pop and trip-hop rhythms. Her lyrics remain authentic, exploring social issues and continuing the exploration of identity and roots rooted in her Holloway Road upbringing and family collaborations.

Delilah's musical trajectory began with Skinny Girl Diet, the indie punk band she co-founded at the age of 14. Her evolution into her solo moniker saw early success with her debut single 'Babylon' in 2018, followed by collaborations with prominent artists like Baxter Dury.

Her impressive repertoire includes collaborations across music and fashion, working with luminaries such as Neneh Cherry, Vivienne Westwood and Ghost Poet. Particularly active in 2021, Delilah has headlined shows, partnered with Marshall Amps and presented exclusive sessions showcasing her multi-faceted talents.

From her roots in music with Skinny Girl Diet to her current solo venture, Delilah Holliday continues to make a profound mark on the music landscape, combining raw authenticity and social exploration in her art.
