Boards of Canada release new album ‘Inferno’
Thirteen years after their last release, Inferno is the long awaited fifth studio album from Helium - electronic music duo Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin - and features 18 new tracks.

Boards of Canada have concluded their mysterious, month-long teaser campaign by announcing Inferno, the Scottish duo’s first album since 2013. ‘Inferno’ is out now via their longtime label Warp.
In March, VHS tapes filled with assorted documentary clips and static unexpectedly arrived at Boards’ fans houses, signaling the imminent return of brothers Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin. They followed it up with a series of global posters and, finally, “Tape 05,” their first new music in 13 years.
