Yves Tumor once again teases the upcoming release of Heaven To A Tortured Mind (out April 3rd on WARP) with new single “KEROSENE!”. The amorphous creative lays the groundwork for another potential pop anthem, reviving fuzzy shoegaze rock guitar riffs alongside topline harmonies (here with guest vocals from singer-songwriter Diana Gordon) that are reminiscent of some of the alternative 90s era's greatest. "KEROSENE!" was first shared earlier this morning on Beats 1 as a Zane Lowe World Premiere.
Just a few weeks ago, Yves Tumor announced the new album with the Isamaya Ffrench-directed video for "Gospel For A New Century", lauded by Pitchfork, Stereogum, NPR, Guardian, HypeBeast, Dazed, FACT and more as one of the most exciting releases of early 2020. Having recently opened for Mura Masa in the UK, YVES TUMOR & ITS BAND kicked off a massive headlining world tour last week and will hit Los Angeles on Friday March 13th at the Fonda, where they'll be joined by special guests Theophilus London, Diana Gordon and ECCO2K. The tour continues across North America through spring, wrapping in New York on May 5th before crossing the pond for a run of dates in the UK and Europe. Full list of dates below + links to check, including Yves Tumor's latest appearance in London's new-generation fashion designer Mowalola's new short film.
