Lauv 21 track debut album ~how i’m feeling~ set for release on March 6, 2020

New track 'Sims' out now. ~how i’m feeling World Tour~ heading over to Europe in October

Independent singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv announces that his 21-track debut album, ~how i'm feeling~, is set for release on March 6, 2020. The album is now available for pre-order on digital and physical formats that will include bundles that can be found here. Lauv will continue rolling out singles in advance of the release, the latest being 'Sims', out today.

Speaking about 'Sims', Lauv remarked, “the ‘Sims’ music video, coming soon, brings the album concept and characters to life for the first time. Im more proud of this project than anything Ive done in the past. For the first time, I’m fully me.”

“I’ve been working on this album for a long time, but today marks the true beginning of the new era.
~how i’m feeling~ is about embracing personality and all its different aspects. I created 6 different characters represented by purple (existential Lauv), blue (hopeless romantic Lauv), green (goofy Lauv), yellow (positive Lauv), orange (fuckboy Lauv) and red (spicy Lauv™️), all of which make up my identity. While my last project was focused on one aspect of my life, ~how i’m feeling~ is the first time I’m embracing all the parts that make me who I am.”

Lauv current single 'fuck, i’m lonely' has over 125 million streams to date and has been on the UK top singles chart for over 2 months. In addition to being on Lauv’s upcoming album, the song was also included on the current 3rd season of the popular Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, as well as this seasons soundtrack.

Lauv kicked off 2019 with 'i’m so tired…' in collaboration with Troye Sivan, that has accumulated over 500 million global streams. He followed with tracks 'Drugs & The Internet' and 'Feelings'. Lauv also released 'Sad Forever', which was written in the midst of the pop visionary’s own struggle with mental health. He donated all proceeds from the track to various mental health organizations across the world that work to de-stigmatize mental health issues, raising over $150k so far.

This summer, Lauv revealed online video game 'Billy Meets World', inspired by the cult classic 'Flappy Bird'. Players in the virtual world, help Lauv’s dog Billy navigate the digital universe of Lauv’s music video for 'Drugs & The Internet', gaining rewards along the way. The game is available on desktop and mobile browsers. As Lauv rolls out new tracks off his upcoming debut album, new themed levels will be added. A new level of 'Billy Meets World' themed around 'fuck, i’m lonely' is out now and can be played here

After performing in the Melkweg in Amsterdam and Lowlands in 2018 Lauv will come back to Holland on October 31st and November 1st for shows in Paradiso in Amsterdam. Both shows sold out within a couple of days.
