A longtime fan of the band, Francis is an American DJ who’s risen to fame alongside his collaborations with artists like Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Kygo, Rae Sremmurd and others.
Dillon Francis says of the remix, “I have been a massive Hot Chip fan since their album ‘The Warning’ so getting asked to remix this last single was an absolute honor. This remix is in the direction of a lot of my upcoming new music so I hope people enjoy the hell out of it because more happy house music is on the way!”
Hot Chip played the UK’s first globally streamed live gig before a socially distanced audience last month at Margate’s Dreamland. The quintet also recently released a ‘Late Night Tales’ mix, featuring a cover of The Velvet Underground’s ‘Candy Says’ and four new songs of their own. It follows on from the release of their seventh album ‘A Bath Full Of Ecstasy’ last summer and subsequent remix album.
The single will be getting a limited edition 10” vinyl release featuring the original track, the Mighty Mouse Remix and 'Straight To The Morning' playing cards. Due for release on January, 15, 2021, the 10" is currently sold out.
