Gotye, born Wouter De Backer in Bruges, Belgium, in 1980, is an Australian singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He gained worldwide fame with his 2011 album Making Mirrors and its chart-topping duet “Somebody That I Used to Know,” featuring Kimbra.
