The Kooks have today unveiled an animated lyric video for their single ‘So Good Looking’, out now via Lonely Cat / AWAL Recordings. The track is the Brighton three piece’s second release of the summer, following hot on the heels of Got Your Number.
The video, directed by Peter Reeve and animated by James Wragg, also the team behind the visuals for last month’s Got Your Number, is inspired by the Popeye cartoons and sees frontman Luke wolf down beans, rather than spinach, in order to foil the thief who’s stolen his guitar. Its sense of nostalgia matches the track’s lyrics and timeless musicality, making it the perfect accompaniment to the summery festival anthem.
