Na de bekendmaking van zijn tour met het Metropole Orkest dit voorjaar, brengt Thomas Dybdahl zijn nieuwe single 'Call Me By Your Name' uit. De track is afkomstig van zijn aanstaande album 'FEVER', waarvan de eerste single '45' al eerder verscheen.
"Call Me By Your Name was one of the first songs written and recorded for the upcoming album and really set the tone for how I wanted the album to sound and what kind of vibe we were aiming for. I wanted to make a guitar record that felt like an old soul album, but with just enough splashes of modern production to make it feel fresh still. Lyrically it’s an homage to the book by the same name, an incredible story of what it’s like to be so madly in love that you’re so immersed in another person that you forget yourself completely"
Dybdahl gaat in april 2020 samenwerken met het Metropole Orkest om zijn tijdloze nummers naar nieuwe hoogten te brengen. De setlijst zal een selectie zijn van oudere nummers en gloednieuwe muziek van zijn aankomende album ‘FEVER’, dat op 13 maart 2020 uitkomt.
