LA duo Neil Frances tap Dutch singer-songwriter Benny Sings for their new single

The hazy nu-disco track 'where i become someone' is the latest to be released off their upcoming debut album

Los Angeles duo Neil Frances (Jordan Feller and Marc Gilfry) tap Dutch pop singer-songwriter Benny Sings for their hazy nu-disco single 'where i become someone'. Marc explains, “This song is about becoming. It’s about the feeling of being in a transitional state, eyes on the sky, ready to ascend to the great disco ball in outer space.” Jordan adds, “We had the idea of working with Benny Sings, and this track felt right for him. I love the blend and mix of Marc's vocals with Benny's vocal's, and they complement each other nicely.”

The track is the latest to be released off their upcoming debut album 'There Is No Neil Frances', which will be released on January 28, 2022.

Neil Frances’ 2018 debut EP 'Took A While', with its blend of psychedelic rhythms, vibe-y, infectious grooves, and raw, funky spirit put them firmly on the map and propelled them to tour slots with Jungle and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Their 2021 EP 'Stay Strong Play Long' featured collaborations with Poolside and Raffaella and included their cover of 'Music Sounds Better With You', which has amassed over 60 million streams. The upcoming album, which was recorded by the duo in their Echo Park studio over the past year, aims for the stars. The band explains, “Our new album is about self-realization and becoming the person that you dream of. The concept is that we are insects on earth who ascend into outer space to become divas at a galactic ball."
