The track is the Brighton three piece’s second release of the summer, following hot on the heels of Got Your Number. With its breezy acoustic guitar, slick electric licks and big earworm of a chorus, So Good Looking is the kind of infectious pop rock jam that continues to win The Kooks legions of admirers. Its nostalgic lyrics and timeless musicality make for a summery festival anthem.
The Kooks have enjoyed a steady ascent since their debut album Inside in/Inside Out, which was last year certified quadruple platinum. A new wave of young fans has seen them amass over one billion streams and head out on a number of world tours, selling out their US tour, and supporting legends The Rolling Stones on two stadium dates. The new album Let's Go Sunshine was released in March of last year and this year in Holland The Kooks played in a sold out AFAS Live in Amsterdam and on June 9th on the main stage at Pinkpop festival.
