Montreal based Alt/Indie-Folk collective The Franklin Electric share their latest single ‘Ghost’, from their upcoming ‘In Your Heart’ EP, out February 21, 2020. “This song speaks about taking a good look at yourself inside and out,” says frontman Jon Matte. “We can easily wander off the path away from ourselves sort of like a ghost.”
The JUNO-nominated group recently wrapped up a headline European tour, and have now announced their 'In Your Heart' Canadian tour, starting on February 19th in Toronto at Horseshoe Tavern and wrapping up on February 29th in London, Ontario at Rum Runners.
Since emerging in 2014 with their debut album 'This Is How I Let You Down', The Franklin Electric have logged nearly 400 shows, canvassing the world alongside everyone from Mumford & Sons and Ben Howard to Edward Sharpe and City and Colour. Along the way, 2017’s Blue Ceilings marked a major milestone. Not only did the record produce favorites such as 'I Know The Feeling' and 'Someone Just Like You', but it also led to a nomination at the 2018 JUNO® awards in the category of 'Breakthrough Group of the Year'.
