SYML releases reflective hymn ‘Symmetry’

Watch the touching new video for ‘Everything All At Once’ and try not to cry

Today, Seattle-based artist and producer SYML shares his brooding new single, ‘Symmetry’, a reflective, finger-picked tune inspired by Brian Fennell’s interest in black holes. He explains, “I have been obsessed with black holes for a while now, mostly with how insignificant they make me feel. There is something extremely beautiful and daunting about infinity, especially when it comes to our inability to understand it. This song feels like the dust that gathered in an abandoned space station that’s been circling earth for years.”

Last week, SYML shared a heart-wrenching video for fan favorite track, ‘Everything All At Once’, from the debut album. The clip tells the story of an imaginative and determined young boy who sets out on a quest to turn back time all in the name of love and loss.

‘Where’s My Love’, SYML’s first single off his debut, is Gold Certified in the U.S., Belgium and Poland, and Platinum in Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands. The album landed at #5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and was one of NPR Music’s ‘Top 8 of the Week’ upon its release.

Following successful appearances at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco and Haldern Pop Festival and Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, SYML will head back to Europe for a fall headlining tour beginning in Dublin on October 12th and will include his biggest headlining show ever in Brussels at Ancienne Belgique before ending at London’s Scala on the 29th. Over the past year, he’s shared the stage with Lewis Capaldi, Flora Cash and Dean Lewis and has headlined shows around the world. A complete list of upcoming shows can be found below.
