Secret Rendezvous releases 'Back In The Day' EP

The EP is now available on digital formats via Boogie Angst

Though it is very much still early days between them, Kraak & Smaak’s Boogie Angst imprint has proved itself to be the perfect home for Amsterdam based crew Secret Rendezvous.

Announcing their intentions with the sentimental slow jam ‘Back in The Day’ which proved to be an instant hit with serious support from those in the know… Digital press were all over it with heavy hitters like La Belle Musique, Stereofox, Born Music, and LA On Lock all championing, not to mention support on LA tastemaker station KCRW and high profile Spotify editorial placements including ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘BAE’.

It was the perfect warm up to the main event that is this EP. Where it sits (or perhaps reclines seductively while beckoning you over with a  single finger!) comfortably next to their  follow up single - ‘Your Love’, and two brand new tracks: ‘This Could Be Us’ and the marvelous ‘Settle Down’.

Singer/songwriter Sietske Morsch and producer/guitarist Remi Lauw are well versed in crafting great soulful pop songs with more than a cheeky pinch of 90’s throwback flavour.  Long considered to be specialists in sweet and sultry slow jams, their own brand of indie RnB is a lush fusion of lo-fi bedroom sounds, catchy melodic hooks, sexy basslines and polished RnB aesthetics.

If the sound of this whets your appetite for more than you can catch Secret Rendezvous on tour and stay tuned for a remixes package arriving later this year via Boogie Angst.
