Saint Raymond shares new track 'Love This Way'

Saint Raymond set the foundations for the second chapter of his story with his latest release ‘Right Way Round’. With Radio 1 airplay from Huw Stephens and a selection of key playlists including Spotify’s Indie Summer, the track is already approaching 1 million streams.

Buoyed by that strong start, Saint Raymond now offers fans a fresh taste of his long awaited second album by sharing the new track ‘Love This Way’. Listen HERE.

‘Love This Way’ shows that Saint Raymond’s bright new sound that he introduced with ‘Right Way Round’ is no one-off. It’s a sun-kissed fusion of bold indie hooks and tropical alt-pop rhythms, with his sparkling guitar motifs boosted by punchy synths and a surprising denouement. His topline brims with passion, adding a joyous urgency to lyrics that explore awkward and contradictory emotions.

The song is about when a relationship doesn’t quite work how it should,” says Saint Raymond, real name Callum Burrows. “But you’re both too scared to let go and you wonder if it’s just how it is and always will be. And whether it’s better to stay in it together in a messed up way.”

‘Love This Way’ is accompanied by a visual created by Franklin & Marchetta. It opens with a tightly focused shot of Saint Raymond’s singing, with more of the backdrop gradually revealed as the camera zooms out. The final reveal, however, suggests that he’s continuing to repeat the same mistakes that he’s singing about. Watch HERE.

Both ‘Love This Way’ and ‘Right Way Round’ feature on Saint Raymond’s upcoming second album, which will be released next year under a new deal with Cooking Vinyl. It follows his debut album Young Blood’, which debuted at #8 on the Official Album Chart and earned high profile supporters such as Annie Mac and Zane Lowe. His touring highlights have included three consecutive sold-out nights at the Scala, shows as guest to Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran and Haim, plus landmark festival sets at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.

Saint Raymond has continued to accumulate millions of streams with the release of the EPs ‘A Light That Binds’ and ‘3’. The new album is the culmination of two years of work, which he has dedicated his time to writing countless songs and experimenting then honing new ideas in the studio. 2021 will see Saint Raymond return in style with a new album and a return to the live arena.
