The seven nominations for her certified gold record 'INSCAPE' were announced last week:

Album of the year - Instrumental
Bestselling Album of the year

"Seriously, I'm incredibly proud. Proud of my team, of my album, but also proud of me. It all came from a very dark mental place. I had the courage to face myself and face my fears and today I am here. It's a (another) huge pat on the back that confirms that I made the right choice and I hope it can give hope to people. Because resilience is a force that can take us a long way. "

This past summer, Secret City Records handed a gold record to Alexandra Stréliski to highlight the 40,000 copies sold of her latest opus in Canada. From sharing her first self-produced compositions on Bandcamp in 2010 to her performance at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in a sold-out 1 500 seater, Alexandra’s career has bloomed, propelled by the love of her fans.

'INSCAPE' has more than 60 million streams worldwide, and 40,000 albums were sold in Canada alone. It was #1 on the charts in Quebec during the first two weeks following its release, it won Album of the Year at the Independent Music Awards, and was nominated on the 2019 Polaris Music Prize Long List. Her music was heard in Sharp Objects and the Big Little Lies Season 2 round-table, both on HBO, and at the Hugo Boss fashion show during the most recent edition of the New York Fashion Week. More than 70 concerts are on the calendar since the beginning of the campaign, and all her Quebec shows so far have been sold out.
