Lauv releases new single “fuck, i’m lonely” with Anne-Marie

The track is the latest single from Lauv’s upcoming debut album ~how i’m feeling~

Platinum-certified independent singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv releases new single fuck, i’m lonely with Anne-Marie today. The track will be featured on Lauv’s upcoming debut album titled ~how i'm feeling~. In addition, the song will be featured on the upcoming 3rd season of the popular Netflix show 13 Reasons Why.

On the inclusion in 13 Reasons Why, Lauv, a vocal proponent of de-stigmatizing mental health issues himself said, "I’m excited to have “fuck, i’m lonely” included on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack...I believe the show has done amazing work but as we release this song, I wanted to share my thoughts about the show with you: when you watch, watch thoughtfully - start with a close friend who you feel like you can be honest with."

Lauv said on the song and Anne-Marie, "'fuck, i’m lonely' is pretty self-explanatory, so all I have to say is this: cheeseburgers. I met and saw Anne-Marie live for the first time when we played at Wembley together. She’s highly silly in a way that has swag, such a good performer and her outfits are crazy."

Anne-Marie added, “I love this song and I love Lauv. I'm so excited to share 'fuck, i'm lonely' with everyone. I never really like admitting that I miss someone after a break up. So here's a song that does it for me 😝Enjoy!”

Earlier this year, Lauv unveiled single “Drugs & The Internet,” marking the first release off the singers highly anticipated debut album titled ~how i'm feeling~, which will see him continuously rolling out singles before its release. The video, directed by Jenna Marsh (Nicki Minaj, Kanye West) sees Lauv getting pulled from reality into a digital universe. He gets trapped and loses himself to the overwhelming stimulus of a world where the internet gets brought to life.

Lauv recently released “Sad Forever,” the second track off his upcoming debut album. The song was written in the midst of the pop visionary’s own struggle with mental health of which he detailed here. Lauv donated all proceeds from the track to various mental health organizations across the world that work to de-stigmatize mental health issues. Click here to view.

The game is available on desktop and mobile browsers. As Lauv rolls out new tracks off his upcoming debut album, new themed levels will be added.

After performing a triumphant sold-out show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire earlier this year, he’s set to return to the UK this November to play two nights at the O2 Kentish Town Forum. These are his largest UK shows to date and the second night was added after the first was a rapid sell-out. Lauv’s singles “I Like Me Better” and “i’m so tired…” are now certified gold in the UK.
