Kudu Blue share new single ‘Are You With Me?’

Headline gigs in London and Brighton

Rising Brighton based quartet Kudu Blue have hit the ground running this year, returning with the slick banger ‘Are You With Me?’ It’s a song about the first stages of a relationship when things are going well… but you’re not sure where you stand.

Kudu Blue are never ones to be conformed by genres and this shows on ‘Are You With Me?’. Blending classic drum ‘n’ bass sensibilities with a hypnotic 2-step garage tempo, as singer Clem’s soulful vocal hooks takes centre-stage.

It’s a been a hugely productive past 12 months for them having released the genre-defying EP ‘Auras’ in early 2019, played major events such as Glastonbury, BBC Introducing Live and toured with Tennyson and Vök. Previous single ‘Somebody To’ was playlisted by BBC Radio 1 as their BBC Introducing Track of the Week, receiving prominent spins from the likes of Nick Grimshaw, Scott Mills, Clara Amfo and more.

The singles 'Somebody To', 'Room For Love' and ‘Are You With Me?’ will be included in their forthcoming new EP ‘Healthy’, out this April on Nettwerk. More details very soon.

Kudu Blue have confirmed live dates in the next few months with more gigs to follow soon.

About Kudu Blue:

Driven by talent, curiosity and an unyielding can-do attitude, Kudu Blue give you a refreshing snapshot of dance music in the UK, a back to basics postcard from the underground club scene. Their distinctly fresh sounds combine to bring on a new wave of progressive UK modern dance-pop, which has seen them gain a media fans including The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland, Complex, Clash, Pigeons & Planes and BBC radio DJs Lauren Laverne, Huw Stephens, Jamz Supernova, etc.

A band making serious waves, they produce some of the most contemporary music out there, having released a string of singles over the last couple of years. Their sound encompasses influence from across both time and space. From 90s trip-hop & sound system culture, all the way through to Buddhist chanting, and back around to old skool hip-hop & R&B. Made up of Owen (keys), Tom (bass), Creeda (rhythms) and Clem (vocals), the Kudu Blue’s 2019 EP ‘Auras’ is entirely self-recorded and produced, using a home studio that they moved between their various homes.

The band are currently putting finishing touches to their next record titled ‘Healthy’, due out this April 2020.
