Garrett Kato's 's. hemisphere' EP is out now via Nettwerk

“This project is one of two EP’s that separate two chapters of my life,” says Garrett. “’s. hemisphere’ focuses around my leap of faith to move to the other side of the world to start a new life.”

Born in Canada, Garrett Kato moved to Byron Bay (Australia) in 2010 after spontaneously quitting his day job to pursue his passion for music. After busking and performing five gigs a week, Garrett is now having his songs synced with box office hits in the US, touring internationally, all the while running his own recording studio; producing for a string of Australian indie folk acts. With over 35 million worldwide streams to date, Garrett is looking ahead to a busy year of tour and releasing a stunning collection of brand new music.

Garrett Kato had a huge 2019 with the release of his Distant Land EP, followed by hit singles ‘Holding on to You’ and ‘Control’. He played sold out shows with folk singer-songwriter Damien Rice, completed his first co-headline tour of Europe & the UK with Riley Pearce and toured North America with household name Ziggy Alberts. When he isn’t on the road, Garrett spends his time at his home studio producing for artists such as Kyle Lionheart, Riley Pearce, Pete Murray, Pierce Brothers and Ziggy Alberts.

Stay tuned for more new music and updates from Garrett Kato in the coming weeks.
