Didirri shares first taste of new music with 'Blue Mood Rising'

The song marks his first release on the label Nettwerk

Holding true to his mission to make music for ‘lovers & over thinkers’, Didirri’s songwriting approaches complex thoughts and feelings with charm and raw power - captivating listeners, magnifying important issues and engaging crowds to feel, move, think, heal and singalong. Now, the 23-year old Alternative singer/songwriter has shared the memorable and magnetic new tune ‘Blue Mood Rising’, which he wrote in Los Angeles and later recorded with producer Dann Hume (Amy Shark, Troye Sivan, Tash Sultana).

‘Blue Mood Rising’ is a thunderstorm of lush guitar tones, slow building drums, and a harmony of backing vocals building to a crescendo led by Didirri’s soaring voice as it takes you on a journey of self-reflection. The track is the first taste of new music from the Melbourne-based artist’s upcoming release, and first release via his new label home Nettwerk.

Nettwerk co-founder Mark Jowett says, “Didirri has captivated everyone at Nettwerk. He is a magnetic performer with profound songs and an unforgettable voice, and we couldn’t be more honored to be tasked with sharing and promoting his music to the world.''

Didirri has had a massive 12 months since the release of his debut EP ‘Measurements’, including a collective 30 million streams, playing such renowned festivals as the UK’s The Great Escape and Latitude Festivals, Australia’s Splendour In The Grass and Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, and touring the US and UK twice in under six months. He’s also shared the stage with such acts as Vance Joy and Hozier, and will be joining Middle Kids on their upcoming tour.

Didirri says of the signing, “I am honestly humbled by my entire team and their collective experience and passion. I recognize that my team working together is a huge part of my ability to do this long term. I’m incredibly grateful for all the interactions I have had with Nettwerk and I’m excited to see how things grow with them on board. It’s a privilege to have met and to work with such great people in Berlin, London, Los Angeles and Vancouver. I’m keen for the future, and I know we’ll take care of each other. I am so happy to have a global team that all think deeply about music, that’s all I could ever ask.”
