Buscabulla release “Ta Que Tiembla” Official Music Video

Listen to the song’s new Remix by Empress Of

Today, Buscabulla share the official music video for “Ta Que Tiembla”. The track comes off their debut album Regresa, released in May 2020 to critical acclaim, including NPR’s Best Albums of 2020.

In the video, Buscabulla is being chased by a hostile tumbacoco in a post-apocalyptic Puerto Rico. A Puerto Rican cultural staple, a tumbacoco is a pick-up truck outfitted with massive speakers and flashing lights, often used for blasting political campaign jingles and now socially distanced birthday parties.

After struggling to run away from the tumbacoco, they find a way to tame the all-mighty beast and ultimately embrace its charms. The band explains, "“Ta Que Tiembla” closes out the arc of Regresa, contrasting the enthusiastic naïveté of “Vámono”’s optimism with a grittier, more sinister feeling. Similarly to how the song speaks of perseverance in the face of impending doom, the video tries to show us in an ongoing search for reconciliation of apparent opposites."

Last week, Empress Of released an official remix of “Ta Que Tiembla.” This follows ‘Regresa’ remixes by Ela Minus, Pachyman, and Jonti.

Buscabulla has spent recent months in the studio writing and recording for break-out reggaeton star Jhay Cortez’s upcoming album; Billboard shared some details about their collaboration. Additionally, Bad Bunny just featured multiple Buscabulla songs on a new playlist of tracks which “inspired and set the mood” for his latest #1 album.
