LISTEN TO TO LET A GOOD THING DIE HERE

Bruno Major is a musician, a storyteller, a romantic to his core. The gloriously woven together To Let A Good Thing Die arrives as a 10-song collection which beautifully encapsulates Major’s devastating way with a wee-hours, big-emotion moment. Album opener “Old Soul” emerges as an ode to post break-up lethargy, whilst “Figment of My Mind” ruminates on a personal experience with the power of the mind and universe. Bruno gives an inspired backwards nod to his songwriting hero Randy Newman in a stripped-back and intimate cover of “She Chose Me”. Then there’s “The Most Beautiful Thing”, a hopeful letter to an unknown future love, which emerged from a special co-writing session with producer and pop luminary FINNEAS. The album is completed by title track “To Let A Good Thing Die,” reflecting back on the ephemeral nature of life and the fleetingness of existence, themes which permeate and encapsulate the record as a whole.

Major’s dedication to sincerity and immediacy in his craft was solidified via his 2017 debut record A Song For Every Moon. Recorded and released independently, the record gained powerful word-of-mouth momentum internationally, amassing over 400 million collective streams to date, with key single ‘Easily  certified Gold in North America. Major has earned vocal support from the likes of Sam Smith, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Lianne La Havas, Hailey Beiber and Kourtney Kardashian. Over the past 18 months, Bruno has toured extensively, selling over 50,000 headline tickets, making his TV debut on the Late Late Show with James Corden, his festival debut at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and opening for Sam Smith’s European arena tour.

At its core, To Let A Good Thing Die is for the fans. Bruno has spent time in the lead-up to his record connecting with his audience, and has drawn in over 40 thousand new fans via Instagram since March. In place of his global tour,  Bruno ran a series of online live sessions to raise direct funds for WHO'S COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, with over 80 thousand people tuning in. He’s also launched a special WhatsApp group to bring together fans directly, which has already amassed over two thousand sign-ups.
