Broadcast releases 3 albums via Warp Records on March 18th

'Sixty Forty' taken from BBC Maida Vale Sessions now available

Warp Records is releasing three reissues by Broadcast on March 18th 2022. The music was originally recorded between 1996 and 2009 and is now remastered for these reissues and will be out on CD, LP and digitally. 

MICROTRONICS - Volumes 1 & 2
The two volumes of Microtronics available on vinyl for the first time, remastered from the original tapes by Calyx in Berlin and housed in a sleeve designed by Julian House.

Originally issued as 2 tour-only 3” CDs limited to 2000 copies each. Microtronics Vol 1 came out in 2003 and was sold on the tour for the Haha Sound album, and Microtronics Vol 2 followed in 2005 and was sold on the Tender Buttons tour.

MOTHER IS THE MILK
Available on vinyl for the first time, remastered from the original tapes by Calyx in Berlin and housed in a sleeve designed by Julian House. 

Originally issued in 2009 as a tour-only CD limited to 750 copies, it was sold on the band’s final tour to promote their collaborative album with the Focus Group, Investigate Witch Cults Of The Radio Age. 

BBC Maida Vale Sessions
Four of Broadcast’s BBC radio sessions recorded between 1996 and 2003 being made commercially available for the first time, mastered from the original tapes by Calyx in Berlin, and housed in a sleeve designed by Julian House. 

As well as alternate versions of many well-loved Broadcast songs, the album also contains rarities such as “Forget Every Time” (which was only ever captured for posterity in the 1996 session included here) and the Nico cover “Sixty Forty”.
