Bob Moses conclude 2019 with 'Unplugged' EP

Four acoustic versions of 'Battle Lines' singles and Duran Duran classic 'Save A Prayer'

2019 was an epic year for Bob Moses’ Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie as they continued to support the release of their critically acclaimed 2018 album Battle Lines (Domino) with major festival plays and touring.  Now the musicians shift their versatile talents back to just to a guitar, piano and vocals to close out the decade, offering fans Unplugged, an acoustic EP today, December 4.

Unplugged sees Jimmy & Tom perform acoustic versions of their Battle Lines singles “Heaven Only Knows”, “Back Down” and “Nothing But You”, plus a studio recording of Duran Duran’s “Save a Prayer” which they performed for numerous U.S. alternative radio sessions over the course of this past year. The EP acts as a bookend to the Battle Lines campaign which began back in August 2018 and also a continuation of the band sharing studio recordings of acoustic versions of their music such as All in All’s "Hands to Hold (acoustic)” and Days Gone By (Never Enough Edition)’s "Before I Fall (acoustic).”

Alongside Unplugged’s release, the duo has also shared live performance videos for all of its 4 tracks.

Bob Moses’ 2018 album Battle Lines spawned the hit single “Back Down,” led to a performance on Ellen, was named one of Billboard’s Best Electronic Albums of 2018 and culminated in a sold- out show at the Palladium in their adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

2019 landed them on stages at major festivals such as Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Outside Lands and Osheaga just to name a few, followed by a national tour supporting Phantogram, a sold-out headline show at Pier 17 in NYC and most recently supporting Rufus Du Sol at their sold-out shows at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and LA State Historic Park show in Los Angeles. They also released Battle Lines [Remixed], a killer selection of remixes from Battle Lines from the likes of Hayden James, Jamie Jones and Cassian among others.
