For that, Douwe Bob is too much of a daredevil, cocktail shaker, bohemian, romantic, melancholic, party animal, father, poet, singer, rock 'n' roller, charmer, guitarist, night owl, skipper, poker player, style icon, pianist, city boy, and nature lover… all united in one person. 

After the rootsy Americana album Born To Win Born To Lose (2021), his sixth album, a true pop-record, Where Did All The Cool Kids Go?, was released on Valentine's Day 2024, featuring the hits This World Is Our Home and Nothing To Lose. The album, written with Stijn Van Dalen and producer Gordon Groothedde, is about love in the broadest sense of the word. It's about feeling at home on this earth, being happy in this world, and with the people you love. 

Douwe Bob won the first edition of De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland in 2012, represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016, and has been awarded two 3FM Awards, a BUMA Award, and three Edison Awards. In 2023, he celebrated his 10-year anniversary and appeared in the TV program De Beste Zangers.
