Spell Blanket comprises songs and sketches drawn from Trish's extensive archive of 4-track tapes and MiniDiscs. The recordings lay the groundwork for what would have been Broadcast’s fifth album, offering a window into Trish and James’ creative process during the post-Tender Buttons period from 2006-2009.
Broadcast started off in 1995 and released songs like 'Tears In The Typing Pool', 'I Found The F', 'Come On Let's Go', and many more succesful songs. Now it's time for the new Broadcast album, 'Spell Blanket - Collected Demos 2006-2009'. As the name suggests the album consists of different demo's from the three-year period between 2006 and 2009, this period of time is prior to the death of Trish Keenan.
